Payment terms
Fees are payable in cash or by direct fund transfer on the day of your counselling session.
Invoices are provided on request.
Cancellation Fees
Reasonable notice is required for cancellations.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will attract the full fee.
Privacy policy
Your privacy and the confidentiality of any personal information collected from you will be protected and kept secure.
What personal information is collected?
Your name, address, email and telephone details are collected with your consent.
Brief notes of each counselling session, as well as referral information (if applicable), dates, and the type of services and fees, are recorded and securely kept.
For what purpose is your personal information collected?
Your personal information enables me to stay in touch with you whilst you are a client. Any information collected is only used for the provision of counselling and psychotherapy services.
The brief notes recorded after each session assist in providing continuity of service and are part of my duty of care to you.
In what circumstances might my information be released?
There are specific circumstances in which therapists are legally obliged to release information. These include:
- information subpoenaed by a court
- if there are concerns about immediate risk of harm to yourself or others and I need to contact other services; in such cases I would make every endeavour to work with you in this process
- with your prior written consent, providing a written report to another professional, or discussing an issue with another person (such as an employer or insurer).
